I'm suprised to not have gotten a reply. Maybe i need to add more info?
I have 3 MP4 files. All 3 have h264 video with one of 3 different AAC types (LC, HE and HEv2)
When i load the one with LC in Graph Edit, i'm able to split it and feed the audio to my coreAAC decoder. The decoder tells me it's LC.
The problem arises when i try to load the HE or HEv2 file. All of the MP4 splitters on my system do not even give an audio pin with these files, however they do with the LC file.
I think the problem is with the spiltter (for not supplying an audio pin). Even if it did supply that pin i don't know if the coreAAC decoder will handle HE and HEv2.
Soooo, if anyone can suggest an mp4 splitter that is known to handle HE and HEv2...i would be sooo grateful.

I use Haalis Media Splitter and to be frank I don't know a mp4 splitter that does have a problem with he-aac audio. (all the commercial onces I got here nero, 3ivx, cyberlink work fine with aac inside a .mp4 container)

Thanks for the reply,
I will try haalis media splitter. I have tried Cyberlink and Nero Digital but don't get an audio pin when HE profile audio is present.

The 3ivx AAC Audio decoder will detect and correctly identify HE-AACv1 (AAC-Plus) and LC-AAC. But it does not currently know about HE-AACv2 (Parametric Stereo)
If the splitter is not doing its job correctly you may have to start playback in graphedit in order to see the correct audio type in the decoder's property panel.
3ivx is pronounced Thriv-ex
