I use Sony Vegas for video editing, however, when I try and render to QuickTime, AAC is not an option.
It is an option to render in QuickTime pro, but in order to open up a video, I have to compress the video once in Vegas and then again in QT Pro. This takes quite a long time as the videos I render are sometimes quite long, and rendering twice takes a while.
Does anyone know how to add ACC into Sony Vegas' list of Audio Codecs for QuickTime?

I believe apple have disabled AAC encoding in 3rd party applications via quicktime.
You should probably encode the audio to an uncompressed format, then open the file in QT Pro, and pass-through the video and re-encode the audio.
Or you could do the same in DirectShow using the 3ivx Filter Suite.
3ivx is pronounced Thriv-ex
